The Wolves have earned a victory in three straight outings after snapping a season-high seven- game losing skid with a 3-2 shootout win over Toronto on Jan. 14; Chicago shares third in the West Division with 47 points (22-19-2-1) through 44 games.

--- Robert Gherson: Posted a 3-0-0 record and turned aside 74 of 81 shots in three starts last week ... Accrued an 8-5-0 record, with a 2.83 goals-against average and .899 save percentage in 15 contests this season ... Has held opponents to two or fewer goals in nine of his 15 outings this season and in 20 of his 34 matchups between the pipes for the Wolves over the last two seasons

--- Chicago right wing Joe Motzko is slated to play for the PlanetUSA team in the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic in Worcester, Mass., which begins with the skills
competition on Sunday; Wolves coaches DON GRANATO, JASON CHRISTIE and WENDELL YOUNG will be behind the bench for the PlanetUSA All Stars on Jan. 26, in honor of Chicago's 2008 Calder Cup Championship.

--- Chicago dented the net four times on Saturday, the first time in seven games they have lit the lamp four or more times; the Wolves have accrued an 11-2-0-0 record when scoring four or more goals in a game this season.

--- Chicago has outgunned its foes in four of the last five games, which includes outshooting Quad City, 34-29, on Saturday; the Wolves have posted a 14-8-2-1 record when outshooting opponents this season.

--- The Wolves matched a season-high with three man-advantage markers on Saturday and have netted five power- play goals in their last two games (5 of 13) after potting five in their previous seven contests (5 of 41); Chicago ranks 27th in the league with a 13.3 percent efficiency rating on the power play (32 of 241).

--- Chicago blanked Rockford on three man-advantage chances Friday, the 13th time the team has been perfect on the penalty kill this season (8-2-2-1); the Wolves rank 27th in the league with a 79.6 percent efficiency rating on the penalty kill (180 of 226).
