--- The Wolves will host their 11th annual "Get Fed by the Wolves" lunch at Cheeseburger in Paradise, 1472 Market St., in Des Plaines on Sun., Nov. 23, from 2 to 5 p.m. Players will serve as waiters at the event and proceeds from the luncheon will benefit several nonprofit organizations, including the Tim Breslin Scholarship Opportunities, First Step Foundation, Interfaith Council for the Homeless and other Chicago-area charities.

--- Forwards Joe Motzko and Joey Crabb each netted a power-play goal.
--- Goaltender Robert Gherson turned away 34 of 38 shots.

--- The Wolves watched a 2-1 lead slip away late in the third period before recovering for a 3-2 shootout win over the Rochester Americans Friday night.
--- Left wing Brett Sterling potted the lone goal in the shootout and forwards Junior Lessard and Grant Stevenson tallied for the Wolves in regulation.
--- Goaltender Dan Turple stopped 32 of 34 shots in regulation and overtime and all five attempts in the shootout.
