OH, SNAP!
The Wolves snapped a season-high-tying five-game winless streak on Sunday with a 4-1 win over Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City; the Wolves sit in second place in the Midwest Division with 67 points (31-22-2-3) and trail first-place Charlotte by three points, and travel to North Carolina for a pair of tilts against the Checkers on March 10 and 11.

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- Mark Mancari: Posted his second hat trick of the season and seventh of his career on Sunday ... Paces the Wolves and shares fifth in the AHL with 25 goals and ranks first on the team and is tied for 16th in the league with 48 points in 52 games this season ... Ranks first on Chicago and shares the league lead with seven game-winners this year ... The Wolves have posted an 8-0-0-0 mark in the last eight outings he has scored a goal

--- Eddie Lack: Notched 32 saves on 33 shots Sunday night to snap a three-game losing skid ... Has surrendered just 15 goals in his last 10 appearances, which includes two shutouts, and has posted a 1.49 goals-against average and .954 save percentage during that span (6-4-0) ... Ranks third in the league with a .926 save percentage and eighth in the AHL with a 2.31 goals-against average in 34 games this year (15-15-3)

--- Darren Haydar: Became the fourth player in Wolves history to record 100 career goals on Sunday ... His marker on Sunday was his first goal since Jan. 20, a span of 18 matchups ... Paces the Wolves with 29 assists and ranks second on the squad with 42 points in 53 contests this year ... Has tallied 296 points (100G, 196A) in 254 career games with the Wolves and is two points shy of tying Bob Nardella for fourth place on Chicago’s all-time scoring register with 298 points

--- Andrew Gordon: Collected an assist in three games with the Wolves last week after being acquired in a trade by Vancouver from Anaheim on Feb. 27 ... Before joining the Wolves, he split the season between the Ducks and the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch ... He posted five points (2G, 3A) in 37 NHL games with Anaheim and eight points (3G, 5A) in 19 AHL outings with Syracuse

WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves were perfect on the penalty kill for the 32nd time this year on Sunday as they killed off both of Oklahoma City’s power-play attempts; Chicago ranks ninth in the AHL with an 84.3 efficiency rating on the penalty kill this season (186 of 223).

--- Chicago will play just six of its final 18 games this season on home ice, including one against Milwaukee on Wednesday; the Wolves have registered an 18-12-0-2 mark at the Allstate Arena and their 18 victories at home are one shy of the 19 wins they accrued at home last year.

--- The Wolves four-goal outburst on Sunday matched the four goals they had scored in their previous five contests combined; Chicago is averaging 2.78 goals per game this year, which shares 18th in the AHL.

--- Chicago notched at least one goal in all three periods on Sunday, the first time in six outings it has bagged at least one goal in each period of the game.

--- The Wolves bagged just their second power-play goal in their last 10 games on Sunday; Chicago ranks 30th in the league with a 13.8 efficiency rating on the power play this season (35 of 253).

--- Chicago loaned defenseman J.P. Testwuide to the Abbotsford Heat today; in addition, the Wolves received defenseman Jordan Henry on loan from the Calgary Flames.

--- The Chicago Wolves will host their third Wine Tasting fundraiser at Harry Caray’s Restaurant, 10233 West Higgins Rd, in Rosemont, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15. Players will join fans for an evening of appetizers and their favorite wine. Fans who are 21 and older can reserve seats for $55 each, but space is limited. --- The Wolves couldn’t muster any firepower and lost 6-0 to the Milwaukee Admirals in an Amtrak Rivalry game at the Bradley Center
--- Wolves goaltender Matt Climie stopped 32 of 38 shots while Admirals netminder Jeremy Smith kicked out all 27 shots he faced

--- The Wolves surrendered two third-period goals to the San Antonio Rampage and dropped their fourth straight game 2-1 at the Allstate Arena
