The Chicago Wolves offer two programs for aspiring journalists: the Writing Chance program and Future Journalist Media Day.
Future Journalist Media Day
The Chicago Wolves hosted their sixth annual Future Journalists Media Day for high school students during the team's practice on Wed., Dec. 7, 2011 at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates.
Guest speakers for the event included CBS-2 Chicago Sports Anchor and WGN Radio Host Jill Carlson, Comcast Sportsnet Chicago Feature Reporter Sarah Kustok, Chicago Tribune Reporter Paul LaTour and ESPN 100 Radio Host Harry Teinowitz. The four discussed their experiences making a career in sports journalism and answered questions from students.
In addition to the Q&A with the speakers, the students had the chance to watch practice and interview Wolves coaches and players.
